Microsoft has announced the price for Kinect as well as the price for a new Xbox 360 4GB console which you may also get bundled with Kinect and Kinect Adventures. Pricing for the bundle, Kinect, and the 4GB console were all announced in a press release earlier today and you may see them below.
Kinect Sensor: $149
The Kinect sensor will retail, as rumored, for $149, but that also includes Kinect Adventures which is included with the sensor. Would you be able to just get the Kinect sensor minus the game for $100? That’s highly unlikely. The Kinect sensor will become available on November 4th, so you still have some time to start saving up.
At launch, more than 15 games will be available for Kinect and each will retail for $49.99, which isn’t too surprising.
New Xbox 360 4GB Model: $199
The new Xbox 360 4GB console, which is a second version of the Xbox 360 S revealed during E3 2010, will retail for $199 and it comes with everything the Xbox 360 S has minus the 250 GB hard drive. Like the 250 GB version it is also Kinect ready, but Kinect will work with any Xbox 360 console already out there. This new console will become available August 3rd, but you might want to continue reading before you go put this on a list of things to buy.
Xbox 360 Kinect Console Bundle: $299
If you feel like you must have it all, and who doesn’t now a days, part of Microsoft’s announcement included the price for the new bundle which will include: The Kinect sensor, Kinect Adventures, and the new Xbox 360 GB all for $299. Starting today, pre-ordering either the Kinect sensor or the Xbox 360 Kinect Console Bundle, will get you a token at launch which you may use to receive three exclusive game levels for Kinect Adventures.
